Current fishing rules at Round Valley Reservoir:
- Catch-and-release only
- Barbless artificial flies and lures only – no live bait
- All fishing is by reservation and subject to availability
- A completed Access License must be submitted before arriving
- A limited number of aluminum boats are available; bring your own electric trolling motor if you plan to use one – gasoline-powered motors are not allowed on the reservoir
- Float tubes, personal pontoon boats, and small jon boats are also welcome; trailered boats aren’t recommended, given the reservoir’s remote, secluded access
